Cedar raised beds

Due to chronic pain from a neck injury, I wanted to get my beds up a bit higher.

This also allowed me to seriously amend the soil with compost, fertilizer and mulch.

Furthermore, it made the garden look much tidier.

Layer of sheet mulch(cardboard and newspaper, some compost, soil mix, amendments and any other organic matter I could cram in there.

Complete, planted late in the season, but got some harvest. Chicken wire is attempt to keep the many cats in the neighbourhood out.
