This 1.5 hour introductory class will educate you and your group to the basics of composting, common mistakes, a variety of systems and the importance of taking charge of your home organic waste as much as possible.

Vermicomposting

Best taught in-person, this 90 minute class will educate you on the best practices of keeping worms for handling your organic waste. Vermicomposting is great for those who live alone or have a smaller space and not a huge amount of food scraps. You’ll learn what to put in, what to keep out, how to keep your worms happy and how to get a bin going at your place.
